A Girls Day Out in Dublin: Celebrate Your Best Friends with a Portrait Session
When was the last time you and your closest friends spent a whole day together? Not a quick coffee or a rushed dinner, but a real, full day that produced something you will still be looking at in twenty years?
That is what a Girls Day Out portrait session is. And it is one of the most enjoyable things that happens in our studio.
What it looks like
You come in with your best friends, two, three, or four of you. You each receive professional hair and makeup. You have the studio to yourselves for the day. There is champagne. There is a lot of laughter. There is usually at least one “oh my god, look at her” moment when the images come up on the screen.
I photograph each of you individually, and then together. The whole group, pairs, different combinations. By the end of the day, you have a collection of portraits that show each of you at your absolute best, and the connection between you all.
Who books these sessions
We have hosted Girls Day Out sessions for milestone birthdays (the fiftieth birthday session is always memorable), groups of friends who have known each other since school, hen parties that went a very different direction than expected, and colleagues who wanted to do something genuinely worth remembering together.
